Chapter 417

Bella’s POV 

We approach the main entrance of the pack house, the residential block occupied by the Alpha and his family. 

"How many people live here?" I try to make myself familiar with the environment even before getting in. 

"Eighty." 

I gasp. 

"Don't be surprised," he repeats his favorite phrase. "This is an eight storey, quite taller than every building here, so each floor has like ten individuals occupying them. There are varieties of facilities here, not only residential rooms." He starts to explain when a young man approaches us, he is way younger than Melech and has a slight resemblance. 

He walks directly to us but his face is not really pleased to see me. Tension rises inside me, I'm not glad to receive this type of attitude from the first person I'm meeting.
