Bella’s POV 

Though it's my original pack that would be defeated as I wish, I have to show loyalty to the pack that rescued me and have taken care of me all these while. Melech is that man and he deserves all the gratitude from me.

I wait outside in the living room while the Luna takes her son inside to have a private talk with him. After waiting for like twenty minutes, I feel the pressure to open the door and go inside to hear what Melech is being told. If the Luna asks me why I intruded into their privacy, I'll repeat the same response I had before, that I feel unsafe being alone.
