"Hmm," I take a sip of my wine. I close my eyes as I drop the glass on the table, taking my face up and enjoying the blow of the cold breeze across my face. Such a place like this is what you need in critical times like this. I think I need a best friend, someone who will turn my companion at times like this, someone I can talk to freely. I'll look into this. I know people would say that Melech is supposed to be my best friend, yes, as a fated mate, but I need someone else like a girl who I would sit and talk to, ask for suggestions in Melech's absence.

"You haven't thought of a better way of administering your pack so you guys can be together?" My wolf asks me, it hasn't spoken for long.
