Eric's POV 

She was right here before me and probably before Carlos and Alice, even if they were here with her, I couldn't trust them either. I guess I had trust issues but somehow it helps in such a condition as this. If my dad was trying to gamble away my happiness for political gains, supported by my mom and influenced by the king and the oldest Alpha, then I didn't need to trust anyone, except my mate. If anyone needed my trust, he had to earn it. 

“I'm fine!” I replied with a cold tone after giving Amelia a cold stare. “You came for this meeting alone, why not do your stuff alone and focus.
