Chapter 8

Lucy's POV

I grinned, folding my arms across my chest as I heard Alpha Eric say this.

“Alpha, I wasn't talking about you?” Diane cried.

“As long as you talk about the one I love, it's me you're talking about?”

“Love?” I whispered to myself, doubting this.

"Now disperse!"

I glared at him, he had a serious look on his face. I realized he was also talking to me. I turned and went back to the apartment.

"Don't worry, I'll return to my wing myself," Leo said to Diane. She was following behind me, her eyes were evil. After a while, when u turned, Eric was still standing over there by the corridor gazing at us. He waited for us to go away before he walked.

At noon after lunch, I had my best friend, Caroline, come to pick me up for school. Since I had lectures by 12:30 PM, I had to eat my lunch by 11:30 AM, rather than the usual 1:00 PM. I wasn't one of those who enjoyed taking food to school, it made me look like I was in bas
