Chapter 97

Lucy's POV

It's a few days away from when the Alpha would hand over the Gamma role to me officially. I'm the first born of the Gamma of Phoenix Pack. Upon finishing up completely at the Gamma College, I would now be eligible to be gamma, the new gamma of Phoenix pack as Diane's elder sister, Melinda, would be Beta. I'll be the gamma of my pack and she'll be the beta.

Over these few days, I haven't been myself. Taking up more responsibilities than before isn't something that is easy to cope with, I've been pulled into the greatest series of mental stress. I just hope I'm able to cope with stress as soon as possible, I'll need these abilities in being gamma.

"Lucy, I see you're not really paying attention to what Dad is teaching you!"

"No mom, I am."

"You call me ma'am in public, is that right?" I sensed she's using right rather than clear, confident with that. At least it doesn't sound all that embarrassing.

"Yes ma'am," I replied
