Chapter 22. After Attack

As Sophia leaves for her room, I walk into mine only to be surprised by my mom waiting there. I sigh heavily. Sometimes I feel like I am still a 15 year old, not 25.

"Good evening mother," I greet her and she smirks.

"You thought I wouldn’t figure out your boy’s den?"

I laugh and grab the water bottle to sip it. Little does she know, it’s far from the boy’s den. I am glad I have no girls laying around naked today.

"So, are you coming home today? Or do you want me to drag you from the ear?"

"Oh come on! You don’t want an assault charge from your own son," I drawl and she rolls her eyes.

“I am waiting in the lobby. You are coming home and we will talk," she orders and walks out of the room.

"It will take me half an hour, I have business to take care of." I say, opening my laptop.

"You have ten minutes," she says, before disappearing out of the door.
