Chapter 4

"Only three points. First, I want you not to pry into my personal life. If you have any questions, ask me directly. Second, if I have urgent matters, I have the right to leave or abandon you. Third, you cannot fall in love with me. And if you violate any of these three points, you must comply with one request that I cannot refuse or avoid. I will tell you what that request is when our marriage contract ends," said Yustaf.

"Okay, no problem. I will fulfill those requirements, and now you can sign," requested Alika. Yustaf promptly signed the agreement.

Not long after that, Albert caught up with Alika who had walked ahead and got into his white Pajero. Albert also got into the car and sat in the driver's seat.

"Are you sure about that guy?" asked Albert, still looking at her flatly even though he appeared a little more serious.

"Well, he meets all my criteria. How could I reject him?" replied Alika.

"I mean, why did you choose a contract marriage instead of a lifelong husband?" asked Albert.

"I don't know... I just... can't accept another man in my heart after my dignity was trampled on like that by Andrew. I'm just not ready to be a wife again," said Alika.

Albert felt sorry for her. In his heart, he prayed that this man would make Alika open her eyes and turn this contract marriage into a lifelong marriage.

Invitations were then sent out to many of Alika's acquaintances and relatives, including school and college groups, as well as family chat groups.

Many people were looking forward to this wedding and congratulated her. Alika is now busy trying on clothes with Yustaf at a well-known boutique in Jakarta. Several boutique employees were busy finding suits and dresses for Yustaf and Alika. When they were arranged in front of them, Alika helped pick out clothes for Yustaf and matched them to his body type and skin color.

"Is this okay? Which one do you want, Yus? All of them look good on you," asked Alika.

"Whichever. As long as it's suitable and looks good on me according to you," said Yustaf.

"Hmm, what color do you like? Black? White? Or blue?" asked Alika.

"If it matches your dress, how about that?" asked Yustaf.

"Hmm, which color should I choose? I'm confused," said Alika, shifting her gaze to the dress in front of her. "White is okay, blue is okay, grey is also okay. I'm seriously confused ha-ha," said Alika.

"How about all three? You'll change your dress every few hours anyway, won't you?" asked Yustaf.

"Oh, okay then. Oh, I'm being told by someone who has never been married," said Alika.

"It's okay. Anyone can forget at any time," said Yustaf.

"Oh, so you're following the color of my dress?" asked Alika.

"Yes, it would be weird if we wore dresses in different colors. It wouldn't match," said Yustaf.

"Yeah, you're right."

"Oh, let me try it first. You should try it on too, I'm worried it might be too tight," Alika requested as she took the dress and went into the fitting room.

When Alika finished putting on the dress, she forgot that the dress had a back zipper. Her hand tried to reach for the back zipper, but it was very heavy and hard. Alika then came out, covering her backside. She didn't see any employees passing by there. She only saw Yustaf there, so she called him.

"Yus! Yustaf!" Alika shouted from behind the door.

Yustaf was surprised and immediately approached Alika. "What's wrong?" Yustaf asked.

"Please zip up the back of my dress," Alika requested.

Yustaf was a little nervous, but he tried to zip up the back of Alika's dress. Accidentally, his eyes fell straight on her back, which was beautiful and smooth, even without any fabric.

Her nape was also very small and flawlessly clean. She was truly a woman who took care of herself. Yustaf tried to hold back his nervousness and awkwardness. Yustaf quickly finished the task of zipping up Alika's dress and immediately distanced himself from her.

"Well, thank you," Alika said, smiling.

Yustaf looked at the woman's overall appearance in front of him. Very... beautiful... Like a princess... How could a princess come to this place? Where is her prince?

Even though she was divorced, she still looked like an ordinary woman. Alika, who continued to feel Lucas's gaze on her, laughed out loud.

"What are you daydreaming about? Am I so ugly that it made you silent?" Alika asked, surprised.

Yustaf smiled. "No, I was silent because I was amazed. Because of the beautiful scenery in front of me," Yustaf said.

Alika giggled and pinched Yustaf's right arm. He winced in pain. "Okay, how about you? You're handsome, you know. It's a shame you don't look arrogant at all," Alika said.

"Do handsome people always have to be arrogant?" Yustaf asked.

"Not really. Oh, or are you just pretending?" Alika asked.

"Would I look cool and be liked by many people if I pretended?" Yustaf asked.

"Not really, so you're not pretending now? Acting cool like that? Look, a lot of people have been looking at you since earlier," Alika said.

"No, it's just my nature. I'm used to their gazes always being directed at me," Yustaf said.

Alika shook her head and laughed. "You're so funny. Such a strange man."

"And I'm used to hearing that," Yustaf said.

After that, Alika took the initiative to take a photo with Yustaf, then she posted it on various social media platforms. Many people commented at that time, and Alika was busy replying to those comments, sometimes leaving Yustaf waiting for a long time.

Maybe that man was just too loyal to wait for Alika, or perhaps he was too shy to express his opinions. Just like her, who couldn't wait to go home? Or was this part of his effort to show respect for Alika by adapting to her?

Oh well, Alika soon ended the chat and switched to chatting with Yustaf about some other things.

"Do you have siblings, Yus?" Alika asked.

"I do, but my sister is in the village," Yustaf said.

"Does she want to come to our wedding tomorrow?" Alika asked.

"If possible, please don't do it, because he would be very surprised if I only become your paid husband. Not a real husband," Yustaf said.

Alika nodded in understanding. "Do you feel burdened with this contract marriage, Yus?" Alika asked.
