Chapter 56

Ashley left the dining room and the rest of them talked and laughed as their shared several stories. Samuel still in his pajamas still in his messy morning hair, tried to engage in the conversion and they all chuckled as Layla fed him little bits of meals.

They all connected over the meal and as the breakfast progressed the empty plates slowly replaced the once filled ones, and they all lingered at the table, savoring the last sips of coffee as the maids came over to pack their plates and clean the table.

“I have to get to work,” Layla said as she gave Jack a nice smile then she walked over to her room to get ready.

Layla drove to work leaving Samuel with Jennifer. She was slowing becoming comfortable with leaving her son with Jennifer again and it is not like she can take him everywhere she goes especially with the responsibilities she has now.

“Justin still has not answered,” she sighed.

“Maybe I should go and check on him to see what the pr
