Chapter 100
The rain had drenched my hair. My fringe rested softly on the bridge of my nose. The subordinate next to the strange man seemed to notice that I had been staring at them, glanced back at me demonstratively, and then came up to the man's ear and said something.
They did not go far; I even faintly heard the subordinate's voice. I couldn't hear what they said. But judging from the pronunciation pattern, it was not our Blue Moon Pack's language.
The man under the umbrella took a step and looked like he was going to turn his head sideways to look at me slowly. I suddenly felt a wave of pressure and tension. Before he could turn around, I pulled Mr. Smith away.
The sound of footsteps slowly sounded behind me as well, moving further and further away.
I breathed a sigh of relief.
