Chapter 3

My ears were ringing in my ears.

Xavier glanced at me with his dark blue eyes, then looked up and ordered everyone.

"Everyone, turn around and strip naked for an inspection!"

My lips trembled and my body shivered.

I thought I could avoid it, but I didn't think I'd have to have this part after all.

I couldn't take it off, absolutely not. There were at least 50 men in this room, and I couldn't expose my body in public.

Otherwise… The consequences are unimaginable.

But the situation seems to have gotten out of hand.

No one dared to challenge the Alpha's majesty, and everyone obediently stripped naked and clasped their hands over their heads.

Except for me.

Feeling guard's fierce gaze on me again, I reached out and wrapped my arms around the Alpha's boots.

In a voice that only he and I could hear, in a language that only he and I could understand, I said, "Please check me out alone where no one is, please."

His eyes were merciless, and a vague look of disgust was coming through.

I said again in the language of the Blue Moon Pack, "Xavier Williams, please."

He froze, surprised that I could call him by his full name.

Since he left the Blue Moon Pack, he only tells people his surname Williams and hardly ever says his first name is Xavier to anyone.

So most wolves know that Alpha Williams runs Sin Pack, and very few know that his full name is Xavier Williams.

He must be thinking about when he's ever known a scumbag like me.

I bet he can't think of one.

Because he and I don't even know each other.

It's just that during the time I was dating my boyfriend, he would always chatter about his class president from junior high.

He would boast about how good Xavier was as a class president for a long time.

At that time, I didn't know what the look in my boyfriend Lyle's eyes when he looked at the photo meant, I only vaguely felt a little strange.

My boyfriend Lyle, however, can do it.

He can talk about Xavier in detail, down to the color and brand of each piece of clothing.

He describes Xavier's wrist bone as "like a glowing bell." He could even describe the scent of the eraser Xavier used.

My boyfriend also told me that Xavier comes from an unusual background, his father is a diplomat in the werewolf kingdom and his mother is a doctor in the Blue Moon Pack.

Xavier is the only son in the family, he grew up better than his peers, is a worthy son of the sky.

After graduating from junior high school, he was selected by the werewolf king and went to the palace for special training.

Thanks to Lyle's unconscious mentions and descriptions, I was familiar with Xavier, a stranger I hadn't met before.

I didn't even have to be close to him to know that his collar smelled like lemongrass.

Of course, this is what my boyfriend said, too.

He said it with his eyes closed, as if he was still recalling the scent, and I felt a little strange even if I didn't suspect anything at the time.

I was a little jealous.

Lyle later found out my little emotion, he then explained to me.

"Don't overthink about it."

"Xavier was a celebrity at school back then, the idol of all the boys, and the most popular thing in school at that time was to imitate him. He liked to pin his sleeves up before he wrote, so all the boys in the school followed suit and rolled their sleeves up."

"He used an eraser, and the next day the same eraser would appear on everyone's desk."

I thought about that scenario, and then I believed Lyle's story.

Because growing up, those girls at school imitated me in the same way.

That's right, before I came to Sin Pack, I was also a celebrity in the school, as others said.

I was the Alpha's daughter of Blue Moon Pack, I was beautiful, I was smart, and I was admired and praised by everyone since I was born.

But who would have thought that one day I would be treated as a rogue and forced to come to Sin Pack as a slave?

"You, come with me."

The words that suddenly came from my ears pulled me back from my memories.

When I looked up, the Xavier of my memories was right in front of me.

I froze a little.

Xavier's leather gloved hand suddenly grabbed my collar and grabbed me straight up.

My head was about to hit Xavier's shoulder, but his strong arm pressed down and I was immediately held in place.

I didn't hit him, but the scent of his collar hit my nose.

It really was lemongrass.

I subconsciously went to look at his wrists. Unfortunately, the uniform and gloves wrapped him up so tightly that I couldn't see if his wrist bone looked like a bell.

"What a daze!" The vicious fat guard finished yelling at me and turned to Xavier and said respectfully, "Alpha, this guy looks kooky, should I take him in for a separate interrogation?"

I tensed up, and it occurred to me that I had just begged Xavier to check me out alone, and I hoped he would say yes instead of leaving me to guard.

I looked at Xavier pleadingly, and he didn't even look at me.

His thin lips opened gently, "No, you keep an eye on this place, I'll take him to trial."

"Yes, Alpha."

Before being tugged away by Xavier's collar, I glanced back just as Fat Guard was barking orders.

"Everyone hold your heads, crouch, and jump!"

I watched as rows of naked people jumped on the ground like frogs. Knives and other things fell out of individuals and then they were whipped.

I looked at Xavier's back with a shudder in my heart.

Where was he taking me?

Is he going to ask me to do the same thing later?

Wouldn't he then see my body clearly and completely?
