Ah, the joy of it all. I don’t know what in the world possessed me to think about giving up my royal title, especially after I’d worked so hard to obtain it, but now all is safe. I know that bastard Adam wasn’t doing my bidding as he should have as my supposedly loyal Beta, but this new guy, Alastor… I’m positive that he’ll do whatever I say.

And right now, he’s off slaughtering those worthless Alphas and their spawn… and the Breeder. I have to dispose of that Breeder.

“It’s ready for you, Your Majesty,” says my servant, bowing his head as a good servant should.

I brush past him and push the useless peon out of my way.

Ah, my bath, perfectly drawn for me with just the right temperature of water and a soothing massage. I can smell the hint of lavender and the light suds look positively inviting, and—

“Servant!” I holler. I can’t be bothered with thinking of his name right now. He’s too insignificant for it to matter, anyway.
