“So… Eli tells me you’re bored,” Tristan says as he walks into my room the next day to take over his shift. He is carrying a large black bag, one I’ve seen before, the one he carries his toys in.

I can’t help but grin at him. “Well, I have been locked up in my room for a while now.”

“Yes, locked up in your room and also held hostage by old lady underwear,” he jokes as if Eli has told him everything.

A laugh bursts through my lips. “That’s true,” I admit. “I don’t even know why those were in my drawer.”

“I don’t know. Maybe an old woman used to sleep in this room.” It is a possibility, I suppose. I hope that the old woman who used to own those pantyhose didn’t actually wear them.

She’d better hope she never has to wear them again.

“Well, I have plenty of toys to keep us busy,” Tristan assures me. “And real handcuffs, too. None of that makeshift elderly person drawers business.” He pulls out some cuffs that look long enou
