I looked at my mate who was sleeping beside me. His one hand is under my head and the other is encircled around my waist and his leg was on both my legs. I smiled at the way he held me while sleeping.

"He looks so cute while sleeping" 

"Indeed" Alice replied through mindlink. 

"Are you okay?" she asked after a while.

"I'm" 

"I can feel your pain," she whimpered.

"Don't worry... I'm fine. If our mate is with us then I don't need anyone else in my life. He and Rex is enough for me" 

"But you broke the link with everyone, Aana. Your parents and Ryan must be worried for you" 

"It's for their betterment only, Alice and it's not like I was in contact with my parents or talked to Ryan every day. I rarely talk to anyone in a pack. They would feel sad but after some time they will thank the moon goddess that they got rid of me... the jinx who destroys everyone's happiness."
