I was sitting at the lakeside when Shrine came running towards me. I caressed her fur. She held my shirt and started dragging me. It didn't take me long to understand that something is fishy. I morphed into a wolf and followed her. She took me back to the place where Aana was but my Pearl was not there.

"Where she went?" I asked Rex. He didn't reply and started running in the direction from where her smell was coming along with the smell of some people. My eyes widened when I saw a warrior holding Aana's hair and she was crying in pain.

"Aah... Aaron" She called me. Before I could have processed, Rex growled loudly making the ground shake. He killed George mercilessly as he deserved. He went towards Aana who was crying. I thought he would give me control like always but he didn't. I was surprised when he calmed her, holding her in his arms.
