Aana was going towards her home when she felt someone's presence behind her. She tightened her grip on the files in her hand because of nervousness and increased her speed.
"Why do you get scared when I'm with you?" Alice said while scratching her head. Aana didn't reply, instead, she started running towards home. She ran for a while then stopped when a man came in front of him wearing a hoodie and mask. Before she would have shouted that person removes his mask. Her eyes widened seeing that person.
"Christian"
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you" He apologised. Aana took a deep breath and then glared at him angrily.
"Boss ordered me to follow you until you reach your home safely" He replied meekly, moving his hand in his hair.
"Bo---Boss" She stuttered and took a few steps back in fear.
"Yeah... Aaron Smith" Aana took a deep breath hearing his name which she herself didn't know since when she was holdin
