“That’s good to know then! It won’t be too hard for the both of you to be with each other since I’d like you two to help the ongoing project to help the abused wolves.”

That made Milena’s mouth hang open. She stiffened a bit. Oh, goodness! Did she hear it right from Alpha Dianne? They’re going to be with each other?!

“I cannot wait for that, Alpha Dianne,” Alpha Angelov said as he smirked a bit.

Milena cleared her throat, composing herself a bit, making sure that she didn’t look affected at all. “Uhm… is it necessary for me to be with… A-Alpha Angelov? I mean, there’s a lot of wolves who can be with her instead of me.” She chuckled a bit as she grabbed the glass of water and drank it.

Alpha Dianne seems confused a bit. “Why? Do you have other plans in mind? Will you be busy in the next few days?”

“U-Uh… well, I might do some errands. So… I’d be busy. You know that I’m also helping the pups in the school. They might need me there…” She reasoned out.
