At his statement, Aakifahlynn wondered if he knew of the sea creatures and thought that maybe it was not the first time they had been spotted on his island, but she was not going to ask him anything again.

At least not for a while.

Her primary focus would be to get the war he promised, a war that would free her from this place and the people who seek to control her. She refused to stick around, wasting any more time.

Besides to Aakifahlynn, the fact that she believed Jairus knew where she was now, she did not want to risk the lives of the people in the Empire. If Jairus were to find her, the people might be in grave danger because he would not be coming here alone.

Aakifahlynn, her father, and a few guards safely returned to the Palace. In contrast, Demarion, Alpha Jarrod, who was hoping to get his hand on Taisiya, and more guards stayed back, casing the perimeter.

On her return, she casually greeted from below a few of the ladies now lounging around
