She was trying to suss them out. She paid close attention to their reactions to her, and she glared at their features and demeanor.
But that was all for theatrics, though, so that when she appeared to them right before she ended them, she would remind them of this. The moment they stood and laughed with her, smiled in her face, and pretended all the while, they hid their malicious and deceitful intent behind their delightful and heart-warming smiles.
Aakifahlynn scowled again at the recollection of Elder Ulric Consalvo's behavior. His greetings were very enthusiastic. Loads of compliments that always made her feel recognized for her hard work and efforts.
