Chapter 67. All Scenarios

Aakifahlynn strolled to the bathroom and stared at herself in the mirror. She soon realized that not only did she feel like herself, but Aakifahlynn looked like herself.

Her cheeks weren't sunken, the dark circles were gone, and that hint of color was back. Aakifahlynn sighed in contentment and proceeded to get ready for her day.

She brushed her teeth and showered.

Aakifahlynn also felt like she did not need a messenger as she thought more of it, though she wondered if she should respect the Emperor's wishes.

It's only that- It's so odd he ordered her kidnapping for a specific reason and does not wish to see her or anybody?

More accurately, 'He does not accept any visitors except for me.' Demarion's words about the Emperor sound in her mind.

'Why doesn't he accept visitors? Does he stay couped up in his room? Does he even greet his subjects? Or hear his people's concerns? All is discussed through Demarion?'
