Chapter 53. The Meeting

“I don't expect that you really have a fiancée, Rap. I thought that was just some sort of game, but I guess I made a mistake. So why don't you introduce her to me? Since I am your best friend, right? Come on, I want to know about her," Nicholas immediately asked me, waiting for an answer.

I had no idea that Nicholas was actually here in the restaurant. So, when he heard that I was in the suite, he immediately came to see us. However, deep down, I knew why he had come. Nicholas already knew what I had done, but he was keeping himself calm and refraining from scolding me in front of everyone. Just thinking about his restraint made me much happier.

“Oh, hello, Niko. I apologize for this impromptu visit, but we were both famished. Luckily, your restaurant is conveniently close by, so I didn't hesitate to come here and sample all the signature dishes your restaurant has to offer.
