Chapter 69. Torn Loyalties

Linda’s POV

My mind raced with conflicting thoughts and emotions. On one hand, the idea of being free from Fallon's grip was tempting. To return to a normal life, to put all of this behind me…it was almost too good to be true. 

But on the other hand, I could not shake the feeling that making another deal with her would only drag me deeper into her web of lies and manipulation. 

So what was I going to do? Trust her and make the deal? Or just stick to the same deal that I already had with her?

I took a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. “What…what is it that you want me to do?” I asked, my voice a bit low.
