The deafening sound of the gunshot reverberated through the warehouse, sending shockwaves of terror through my already shattered soul. I recoiled in horror, my heart seizing in my chest as I watched the life drain from the guard’s eyes, his body crumpling to the ground in a heap of blood and ruined dreams.

My mind went numb, unable to comprehend the brutality of the scene unfolding before me. Tears blurred my vision as I struggled to process the sheer magnitude of the violence that had just happened.
