Chapter 149. Memory Lane

Linda’s POV

I adjusted my weight in the metal chair, feeling a bit numb to all the body aches I knew I had a few minutes ago before I was told about the pregnancy. 

I had never seen myself as pregnant before, it was something that I had not entertained. I mean, I did think of being pregnant and giving kids to Chris, but that was only a fantasy that I had created in my head.

Like almost every girl or woman, we think of things like this. We have this dream, this perfect picture that we paint about how our lives will end up.

Some of us would want kids in that painting, most of us. But others would not, and that was okay.

But for me, I did want kids. I just thought that it would be something that Chris and I would talk about first.

I thought it would be something that we would look forward to together. What if he did not want a child? Or what if he was ready for one and wanted to focus on work?

And let us not forget that I was in this situation. M
