“You good, babe?” Kaden asked yet again. I nodded, in response.

The journey to the Redwood Pack was quite an uneventful one but there was no doubt it was filled with excitement and a bit of apprehension. I kept staring out the window, as I battled with my thoughts about the angst of the future. 

My overhanging and spiked emotions were all because of my pregnancy hormones and the memories of my past life. They still came back to haunt me even though it had happened a long time ago. 

I had always wished there was a way to wash off those memories from my head but it was practically impossible especially when I had to remember what my mission was, eliminating Alpha Dennison and getting back my life.
