Chapter 76

Kaden 

The D-day came a week later. And we were on our way back to Germany. The airport was bustling with a lot of activities as our departure from the Hezen Pack gradually came to a close. 

There was a bit of nostalgia in the air as we left the place, it reminded me of something, something I couldn't quiet grasp. I couldn't tell if it was some sort of Deja vu or if it was the petrichor-like smell in the air. 

But for some reason I felt quite happy and fulfilled. The memories of the battles we had won as a team came running in and out of my mind. The death of Denniosn and that of the other witches, it all made me very fulfilled. 

At least they wouldn't be facing any sort of danger except occasional rogues that trespassed the boundary or those who were strong enough to fight the guards at the boundary. A smile escaped my lips as I thought about all our exploits as a family, I couldn't be any happier.
