Achilles's POV
I took the necklace out of my pocket and threw it at Perseus' chest. Alex had given me the item when I arrived at the hospital. My anger is only controlled because I know Sophia is feeding off the energy of the link; I can feel that Boreas is being drained in such a way that I am almost certain he will die if this continues.
Perseus picked up the item and tears began to flow down his face again as he cringed. I had never seen him so vulnerable, not even at his mother's or girlfriend's funeral. I might have felt pity if I didn't know that all of this is his fault, for his stupid decision to think Sophia would betray us, especially with Khalid.
