Chapter 28. Instincts

Sophia's POV

Something inside of me has changed, I have fought so hard to defend myself, to create an impenetrable barrier, not even my closest friends have been able to get that close to me and in just a few days, a few hours, these two men have broken through that wall and envelop me.

Tears flow freely as I feel the warmth of Perseus' body, everything I had hoped for the first time I fell in love I am getting now... Back then I had thought I had found my soulmate, that I would be with him for the rest of my life, that he was the perfect guy there was and for a while he was... My little fairy tale that turned into a nightmare...

Now that my life was going well, I wasn't so worried about being found, but I always had a target on my back, whether I wanted it or not, I was afraid of being found... Except even if I am found I know these men will defend me no matter what.

It's a relief to feel like this, every tear that flows makes me feel lighte
