Chapter 61. In the Middle of the Road

Sophia's POV

I'm in a different and strange place.. I don't understand and I can't make sense of it... I know it's not natural, or at least, I don't think it is... It could possibly just be my imagination. My logic tells me that I'm in a coma.

I know that there are several reports of supernatural encounters while in this state, but to me, it always seemed to be the imagination of someone who wants to give meaning to something we can't explain.

The difference is that now I know that Gods and supernatural creatures and beings exist. This is causing a war in my mind as my rational self and the atheist part of me doesn't want to accept this fact so easily. I am finding it more and more undeniable the longer I'm here.

 I feel myself drifting to a very far and distant place, my body growing colder the further I go. I know that I will reach a place where I will no longer be able to turn back.
