Chapter 67. A Wonderful Surprise
Sophia's POV
My chest hurts. It's been a constant pain since I woke up after my mates made their promise. I try not to let it get to me and not pass the pain onto them, but sometimes it gets too strong and they worry.
“Let's bring in a heart monitor.” Dr. Ioannidis said.
I know that Achilles and Perseus suggested it, so I won’t make a fuss over it, there’s been enough fighting, and if it brings them peace, then I’ll accept it. I need to give in too so that our bond isn't lost.
“First,” Dr. Ioannidis continues, “I'd like to do an MRI, to check that your internal organs are alright, as well as examine you for scars from previous surgeries that you've undergone and try to ascertain whether you do, indeed, have any transplanted organs.” He finishes.
Once the rejection ritual was agreed on, we discovered that there was so much more that needed to be investigated and taken into consideration. Doing the MRI and running a few tests, would help
