After she drove off, Cassandra grabbed her phone and made a quick call.

“Mr. Yane, just got a juicy scoop on Ethan Carter from L City. I’ll send the pics to your email in a sec.”

“Got it, Miss Taylor,” Moses replied curtly.

Ending the call, Cassandra pulled over, forwarded the photos to his email, then started the car again and drove off.

When she got back to the Taylor residence, dinner was just about to start. She washed her hands and joined the table.

“Sweetheart, how was your first day at G&K Group? Getting used to things?” Alexander Taylor asked warmly.

“Pretty good so far, Grandpa,” Cassandra answered with a small smile.

“Work tiring? Anyone giving you a hard time there?” he followed up with concern. After all, it wasn’t the family business, and she was new. It’d be normal if there were some whispers behind her back.

“It’s a bit hectic near year-end, but I can handle it. Colleagues have been nice, no drama,” she said honestly
