Before she could respond, he turned and left.

What could he possibly be giving her this time? Curiosity piqued, Cassandra opened the box and found two small glass bottles—one red, one blue, each about the size of a thumb.

She froze. No way… he wouldn’t seriously hand over something like that, right? Was he expecting her to use it on him or something?
