Leon didn’t try to hide anything now that Lilah had confronted him. “Good that you know. Could you please ask Miss Taylor to come out and have a look at the flowers?”

“I can call Ms. Taylor for you,” Lilah replied, raising an eyebrow, “but you’d better not be forcing these on her, okay?”

With that, she turned to a servant and asked her to fetch Heather.

“Forcing? Come on, do I look like the type?” Leon chuckled mildly. Dressed in a tailored navy suit, he still maintained his usual refined air.

Not long after, Heather arrived.

She wore a simple ash-grey dress, with no makeup on her pretty face. Her hair was casually pinned up, effortless but elegant. Despite the understated look, she still seemed to glow in the sunlight.

Lilah walked over to her first, lowering her voice a little, “Ms. Taylor, Mr. Sterling brought over a whole bunch of flowers. Take a look and see if you want to add a few to your courtyard. If you like some, feel free to pick. If n
