Gabriel was out cold the whole ride, only stirred when the car finally rolled into Ashbourne Manor.

“I’m not drunk... just a little sleepy, that’s all...”

Mumbled that much, then promptly passed out again.

He was dead weight in this state, and it took a few maids plus Lilah’s full strength to finally get him into the bedroom.

After getting his shoes off and laying him on the bed, she was already panting heavily.
