Lilah flinched, instinctively trying to dodge.

Gabriel’s strong hand clamped down on her shoulder, his other hand gripping the collar of her shirt and yanking it down.

His handsome face instantly buried into the curve of her collarbone, teeth pressing in a bit too hard—Lilah gasped from the sting, tilting her face upward.
