Don’t you touch me! Elise exclaimed, and Rygan was more than shocked to hear her voice echo to him telepathically.

“You are a telepath, but how...” Rygan let out in awe, for a moment distracted from the situation in the first place, until Elise growled at him.

“You think I give a shit about what powers I have right now, Rygan?” She huffed out, her eyes teary, as she pulled her hands away from his reaching hold. “You are such a lying jerk, Rygan. Her body trembled from anger. Her eyes were wet with tears, and an indescribable feeling burned in her. Rygan tried to reach his hands out for her, but she took two steps back.
