Draco’s POV

I was just sitting, staring at nothing in particular, when the door of my office busted open, a guard entered and bowed slightly.

“Any message from Liam?” I asked, impatiently, hoping for good news.

“Not yet but we have already sent him a message to return to the palace,” he replied, avoiding my gaze.

I was so worried because it had been a week since they sent Liam the message and he had not arrived back at the palace.

“Send another message to him right now,” I ordered.

“Okay,” he said and bowed in respect.

I was talking to the guard when another guard dashed in,

“What is the problem,” I said, my voice tinged with concern.

“The lady that was rescued is not in her room and she is nowhere to be found,” he said, his voice shaking and his breathing was so heavy like he had been running.

“Check around the palace first, she couldn’t have gone anywhere,” I said.

“We have checked everywhere, but we couldn’t
