Chapter 60. I Feel Different

Delilah’s POV

As I was running for safety, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head. It was like a strong pressure was squeezing my brain, and I couldn’t think straight.

I fell to the ground, holding my head in my hands, and everything became blurry. But then, just as quickly as it started, the pain stopped. Everything was calm again, and I felt... different.

I couldn’t explain how, but something inside me had changed. It was like I had become a new person, but I didn’t know what exactly had changed. I just felt strange, like something was different deep inside me.

So, when I finally turned around, I saw Kaylee and Magnus standing there, looking at me with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
