Magnus’ POV

Alaric stood outside the wall of my mansion seeking an audience with me.

At first, I didn’t want him to come in. I ordered the witches to stop him from entering.

I didn’t want to see him, But Alaric was stubborn, trying to push his way in, but the witches were stronger than him.

“Draco is coming for you,” Alaric warned me.

His words hit me like a slap in the face. I stopped dead in my tracks, my feet rooted to the spot. I had been walking back to the mansion, but now I turned around to face Alaric.

“What are you talking about?” I asked, my curiosity piqued. I looked at Alaric with a questioning expression, my eyes wide with interest. I wanted to know what he meant, and why he thought Draco was a threat.

I took a step closer to him, my heart beating a little faster. “What is going on?”I pressed, my voice eager for answers.

“Draco just attacked my pack,” Alaric said, his voice serious and worried.
