I kept shaking Draco’s shoulders, trying to snap him out of his daze.

“Draco, wake up! What is going on?” I demanded, my voice firm and urgent.

At the same time, Delilah was shaking Liam, trying to rouse him from his sleep.

We were both trying to shake off the effects of the sleep spell, but it was hard.

The entire hall had fallen silent, with everyone lying motionless on the floor.

The guards, who were supposed to be protecting us, had also fallen victim to the mysterious force. They were all asleep, completely unaware of what was happening.
