Daphne

I stayed in the restroom for a long and when I got out, the movie had long started. I sat at the last seat, far away from Zac.

When I took a peep, I noticed he was gone. Letting out a deep breath of relief, I fixed my eyes on the screen.

Daisy mouthed, “Are you okay?”

I nodded in response.

It was relieving not seeing him around. I had no idea how I would respond if he was close by.

The movie ended, and I quickly dragged Daisy out with me. Who knows, he might be waiting for an opportunity to speak to me again when I get out.

“We need to put things in order before we leave,” Daisy asked, trying to catch her breath after our little run. “Where are you rushing off to?”

“I want us to be ready when the customers would come out,” I answered, looking around.

Daisy drew her brows, and looked around too. “You looked like you had seen a ghost,” she muttered. “You have been behaving weirdly since you came here.”
