Leo's POV

My eyes flashed, and I growled, slamming my hands down on the table, splintering it down the middle. I clenched my fists, my claws digging into my palm.

"I can't believe Alpha Leo, the great Alpha of the Moonstar Pack, is faced with a challenge that seems beyond his control," I muttered to myself while rubbing my eyes as I glued them to the ground while I sat on my bed.

There must be a way out of all this; there should be something that can be done. I groaned profusely and furiously let out a hiss. I stood up.

"When did you come to your room? It looks like you didn't sleep here last night. Where were you?" Valen questioned, his face all laced with curiosity. He didn't even knock before sliding in, but I will just ignore that.

He looked at his wristwatch. "It's just 6 a.m., and you have started drinking, Leo! Come on, it's damn early to drink. You haven't answered me." He grabbed the glass of wine in my hand and kept it away.
