Valen's POV

"Protect him with your life. Guide him like an egg, and let no harm come to him!" His warnings struck me.

The bullets continued to fire. I looked out of the tinted windows and dashed my eyes on the monster.

Oh no, this can't be happening. I have been hearing about the monster's attack, but I haven't seen it with my own eyes. It looks like a moving wind. The only obvious part is its head, which is masked in blood.

"Move the car, damn it!" I yelled at the driver. He is even more scared than I am.

The more they fire gunshots at him, the stronger he grows. The bullets were not penetrating his body at all. It felt like throwing a stone at an aluminum panel.
