Chapter 161. Want Privacy
I remained where the bastard left me, tugging on the cuff around my wrist repeatedly for an immeasurable amount of time. I wanted to give up; sit on the chair and just wait for whatever would come next. But something in me rejected that idea. I didn't want to live in this place.
For a pretty good time I tugged on that cuff, letting it dig into both my flesh and the wood of the table until both were properly carved into.
It was so painful but I wasn’t stopping.
