Chapter 120. Scarlett Is Missing (1)

Mia hugged both her legs as she sat on her bed, shivering. Her eyes hadn't closed since she saw that strange thing last night. She began to wonder what was going on. Why would Avery and Cornelia be next to it? She had seen its red eyes, and it didn't seem normal. Scarlett hasn't been home either.

The rumbling of thunder could be heard, and the rain hadn't stopped since it began to fall last night. Mia hugged herself tighter as her eyes searched the entire room. She had stayed in Scarlett's room instead of hers, waiting for her sister to come home.
