When a knock was heard on the door, Mia pushed Cornelia and Avery out of the way. "Go. Go. Go." she whispered. Mia jumped on Scarlett's bed and covered herself with a blanket. Cornelia and Avery took positions underneath it.

"Scarlett?" Aunt Augusta walked in and closed the door behind her. She approached Scarlett's bed. "How are you feeling now?"
