Chapter 176. Fate
Scarlett got discharged early. Her mother had made the decision that her therapy session would begin right away. Scarlett was waiting for the bomb to drop even though October hadn't told her that she was going to rehab. When her memories came back, she couldn't wait. According to Mia, things would be simpler in that case.
"I will be in my room." Scarlett moved away from her mother and toward the stairs.
"Make sure your door is open!" Scarlett was about to enter her room when October yelled.
As she sat on her bed, Scarlett sighed. If there was only a way to remember. She couldn't go far away from home. She wouldn't return to her normal self after rehab. She sighed once more. Her legs started to tremble impatiently. Scarlett threw her pillow out of her line of sight out of frustration. She shut her eyes.
"You can't force yourself to remember. You will only get hurt." Mia picked up the pillow from the entrance as she got closer to Scarlett.
