Chapter 41. Immune to Silver

"Betas!" Raven said to Scarlett.

"What is a beta?" Scarlett inquired after spotting two large, enraged werewolves in front of them. They were so angry that Scarlett wished she could get out of Raven's body and run away.

When Cornelia noticed the two large wolves, she fainted once more, and Avery sighed, "Not again."

"After the alpha, they are the second in command. I believe they came to find you here because they were enraged by you."

Adolpha caught Anton's eye, and he grinned. It is finally her time to finish what Simon couldn't, and that is to kill Scarlett for good. They knew to attack at that point.
