Chapter 92. Summer Vacation Plans (1)

Scarlett awoke the following morning to a knock at her door. She opened her eyes with a groan. She saw October approaching her as soon as her door opened. "Hey, hon. I'm aware that I haven't been around much lately, but now that your exam is over, I thought perhaps we should go out. Just the two of us. By the way, when is your summer break and are you going to school today?" She walked over to the cotton and opened it.

"You know, I would appreciate it if I were left alone. Yes. I have class today, so I don't think I want to hang out with you all day."

"Ouch. That is harsh."

"Mother. I didn't forget about the therapy session, if that is the only reason you are here. At least, I prefer being there to being in this room with you." Scarlett made an effort to forget what had happened on Sunday, but something kept bringing it back to mind, and she is constantly tempted to ask her mother where she went. She had tried snooping on October's phone, but with no success. Nothi
