  I walked back to Victoria's room and met her chatting happily with nurse Agnes. I stood by the door and worried about what her reaction would be when she found out I had a baby with someone else.

  “Is everything okay?” she asked when she noticed I was silent.

  “Yeah.” I replied quickly and flickered her a big smile before leaving the door.

  “The doctor said you can go home tomorrow,” I announced.

  “Really,” she exclaimed happily.

  “Yeah, so get your things ready.''

  “This is good news, I can finally get to see my aunt.” She yelled, excited.

   Her words inflicted a sharp pain in my heart, and I wondered how to break such news to her.
